For builders

Stop losing weeks — and interest — to the bid-out

Custom builders, owner-builders, and spec builders use packs for the same reason: the slowest phase of every build is the one before ground breaks, and it burns hours and loan interest at the same time.

The math

What does bidding a house out actually cost?

A thorough solo bid-out means 40-50 contractor conversations across 15–20 scopes: 30-40 hours of work spread over 6-8 weeks. At any honest value of your time that is $2,250-$6,000 — and if your construction loan is live, interest accrues on every idle week on top of it.

Loss you can compute

Your carrying cost while you bid

Construction loan interest runs whether or not anyone is building. This is the meter:

$615
interest per week, building nothing
$2,462
burned over your bidding window

Formula: loan × (rate ÷ 52) × weeks. A Standard Pack is $1,250 flat and lands in about 10 business days. Full carrying-cost guide →

What you get

A pack is leverage in three rooms

At the bank

A leveled trade budget attached to your plans replaces the $/sqft guess with named, written numbers. Walk in with a budget, not an estimate.

With your trades

Written scope sheets make every conversation shorter and every bid comparable. "That wasn't in my number" stops being a thing that happens to you.

On your schedule

Every scope sheet states the crew's earliest start window, so you can build a schedule without gaps — and gaps are the other silent budget line.

No lock-in

Whose subs do you have to hire? Nobody's.

Hire the subs quoted in your pack, your own crews, or a mix — the fee never changes and every construction contract is signed directly between you and the trade. BuildPack never marks up trades and never sits between you and the job money. The pack is yours either way.

That independence is deliberate: because we make nothing on your construction dollars, the numbers in your pack have no reason to be anything but honest.

Founding builders

The founding-builder pilot

BuildPack launched in 2026, and the first builders through get the most attention we will ever be able to give: capacity is capped at 8 packs a month so every pack is assembled carefully, and founding-pilot builders get first claim on next-month slots. When a month is full, we say so and offer the next opening — we don't degrade the product to take the order.

No fabricated testimonials will ever appear on this site. When pilot builders choose to say something with their name on it, you'll read it here; until then, judge us on the sample pack and the published fee table.

Builder questions

No. There is no lock-in of any kind: hire our quoted subs, your own crews, or a mix. Every construction contract is signed directly between you and the trade, the fee never changes based on who you hire, and the pack is yours either way.

A leveled trade budget attached to your plans replaces the $/sqft guess in a bank conversation with named, written numbers. Many builders order a pack before closing precisely for that reason. We provide the budget; your lender makes lending decisions.

A buildable plan set, ideally with your lot's survey or plat and any selections you have made. From that, we confirm scope count, exact fee, and delivery date the same day. Payment is 50% on plan submission and 50% on delivery.

Plan-revision re-quotes are $250 and re-run only the scopes your changes touched. Moving interior walls re-prices framing and drywall, not roofing and gutters, so design iteration costs a known, small amount instead of a whole new budget.

Send plans. Get a free scope count and exact fee quote the same day.

The smallest possible first step: no commitment, no billing, just your number in writing.
